The intrigue takes place in Chicago between 1928 and 1932, where Tom Greyling (grandson of Tommy Greyling) has just finished his training within the small family of assassin of Chicago. The guild is seriously impoverished. The murderer couple who trained him died in an explosion on the top floor of their headquarters. The only survivors are Tom and his younger brother, Finn. Eliot Ness contacts the Greyling brothers in order to defeat Al Capone who controls various important cogs of the Chicago underworld and the Templar Harvey Kimball, politician influencing in different sectors (factories, transport, medicine, politics, crime ...). Himself is in possession of a fragment of Eden: the shroud (which can cure any disease).
